Kerry teaches her Master’s-based 12-Step Outcome Creative Arts Program at Recovery Acres Women’s Centre and collaborates with numerous Calgary organizations. Her work is shaped by lived experience, deep listening, creativity, and a recovery-based approach to living with purpose.

Suzzy Anibueze is a Calgary-based mental-health professional, recovery advocate, and founder of Sober Runway, a movement blending fashion, healing, and storytelling to celebrate resilience and reduce stigma. Drawing on her own recovery journey and immigrant experience, she creates inclusive spaces where people feel seen and supported. Suzzy holds education in Addiction Studies, Disability Studies, Education, Fashion Apparel Technology, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Her work centres on trauma-informed, culturally responsive support, community connection, confidence, and hope.

Jessica Cooksey is a recovery-sector leader, organizational strategist, and advocate for compassionate, accessible pathways to healing. With broad experience in addiction treatment, recovery community operations, and program development, she brings both professional insight and a deeply human perspective to conversations about substance use and wellness. Jessica champions recovery-oriented early intervention, trauma-informed care, and relationship-based approaches that help women seek support, build confidence, and pursue recovery without shame or stigma and create lasting, meaningful change.

Corrinna Bell is an entrepreneur, hairstylist, mother, and lifelong learner with more than five years in recovery. After graduating from Alcove in July 2021, she continued a journey of healing, education, and personal growth, turning adversity into strength and purpose. Corrinna has built a diverse career across hairstyling, salon management, real estate, and entrepreneurship. Today she works as a hairstylist while continuing her education and developing future business ideas. Her story reflects resilience, reinvention, and the belief that a better life can be built with intention and vision.
